My research explores the development and enhancement of high-level cognitive skills such as creative thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and metacognition. I’m currently working at the Center for Talent Education at Sungkyunkwan University, where I focus on cultivating high-level cognitive skills through targeted educational interventions to improve overall learning outcomes.
11. Optimizing Educational Environments for Underprivileged & Gifted Students
I investigate the conditions that optimize educational environments for both underprivileged and gifted students. My work aims to bridge the gap between these groups by identifying strategies that enhance student engagement and academic success across diverse populations.
111. Incorporating Cutting-Edge Technologies into Educational Practices
My research examines the integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligence (AI), into educational practices. I explore how these technologies can transform traditional learning environments and foster deeper engagement and creativity among students.
The video below is my presentation at an international conference, where I developed an innovative educational program that utilizes VR technology to enhance creativity among gifted students.
1v. Identifying Potential of Students from Diverse Backgrounds
I explore the design and implementation of personalized educational interventions that address the needs of diverse learners. Drawing from my ongoing volunteer work with multicultural students and their families, I investigate how tailored support strategies can reduce educational disparities and improve learning outcomes for underserved populations.
