This time, I made a uniquely shaped pen rest!

The design is inspired by the nib of a fountain pen, specifically taking cues from the nib pattern of Pelikan’s fountain pens.
Carving curves on the wood was quite challenging, and while the lines weren’t perfectly even, the pattern still turned out beautifully!

When held like this, it looks just like a giant fountain pen!

I carved a groove at the bottom to rest the pens, and it seems to fit all sizes perfectly.

While most people use wood carving to make kitchen tools, I’m more interested in stationery, so I focus on making desk accessories.
I’m proud that this combines my two hobbies: wood carving and fountain pens!
