This time, I made a really elegant wooden pencil case.
It was the most challenging and time-consuming project I’ve done so far.

I carved out the insides of two pieces of wood with similar sizes and connected them with hinges to create the case.

The outside of the pencil case is adorned with a beautiful pattern that I carved (which was actually the hardest part).
Up close, it looks a bit uneven, but from a distance, it turned out beautifully.
I didn’t even use a ruler to measure the design, yet I’m very satisfied with how it came out.

Since the wood is hard, I lined the inside with soft fabric to protect my precious fountain pens from getting scratched.
It can hold two large pens or three smaller ones.
The combination of wood and pens looks so elegant!

The pencil case turned out bigger than I expected, so I’ll be keeping it on my desk rather than carrying it around. I’m so happy to have made the perfect case just for me!
